Super Secret Project X
So I did a little digging and managed to create a tool that extracts all the power text for a given sourcebook (or issue of dragon) from the compendium. I used it for my DND Minis 2 module.

That's awesome! Will you be able to extract monsters, magic items, feats, ect from DDI at some point the same way?
It's possible. It all depends on what information is in the compendium and how far off it is from what the parser expects.
Generally if it looks significantly different than it did in the PDF/print it's less likely to be processed.
